DIY Silk Ribbon Kits!

These are my standard DIY silk ribbon kits. There are three dye options: Sandalwood (terracotta or sand: depending on dye method), turmeric (yellow) and madder root (coral).

Standard Kit includes:

5”x7” muslin bag

wooden spoon

disposable gloves- powder free nitrile

Mordant + dye directions

1.5 oz hexagon jar with alum potassium aluminum sulfate

4oz hexagon jar with powdered dye (your choice of color)

2 yards 10mm 1” habotai silk bias ribbon

2 1/2 yards 12mm 2” silk satin bias ribbon
